One of the primary examinations for Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is detecting heart abnormalities. This abnormality is usually checked using a stethoscope. However, conventional stethoscopes are very error-prone and require expertise on this device. We are working to develop a 3D-printed MEMS-based stethoscope that will use more sophisticated MEMS sensors with broader frequency response to capture the full range of heart sounds and more efficient signal processing algorithms. In this project, we aim to enhance the early screening and prediction of cardiovascular diseases, ultimately improving healthcare outcomes for the mass people.
